PuzzleJuice is by far the most entertaining game I’ve downloaded onto my iPhone. Tetris meets word find? Count me the fuck IN. Most of the time, when a developer attempts the ol’ classic game mashups, they end up completely missing out on what made the original games fun. PuzzleJuice, however, brings Tetris and Word Search together in such a glorious way, its like its the ‘boss level’ that both games never had. The multitasking it bullies your brain into is delightfully difficult without being monstrously frustrating. I felt that the powerups were a bit unbalanced (who would want to use twister or drill?) but I discovered later that my choices weren’t the obvious favorites, so maybe they’re a bit more balanced than I thought they were. The only qualms I hold are the minor glitches that still occur, but it’s nothing to cry over. To top off the cake, PuzzleJuice weilds a humorous ‘bro speak’ language that inspired something between a smirk and a facepalm, but was enjoyable nonetheless. DEFINITLEY worth the $2.
