Tiny heroes is another little iphone game that spent quite awhile as my on-the-john goto. It’s not a whole lot different than the rest of the tower defense games on the market, except for perhaps its art style, and the fact that you’re an evil something-or-other protecting your treasure from an onslaught of tiny heroes, instead of the other way around. The one amusing gameplay quirk, which I believe was unintentional, is that the little heroes aren’t exactly the brightest crayons in the bunch. You lay traps for them, trying to predict what any sane hero would do, and they instead blunder around like idiots without any discernable motivation for the path they’ve chosen. However, learning these quirks and using them against the little buggers ends up being quite fun itself. The defenses aren’t really well balanced (after the lightning towers, you wont use much else) and the game isn’t very long, but all in all worth the download (and/or purchase, I can’t remember)
